    FAQ's

Morale patches are an army ornamental insignia often with funny sayings and pictures. These patches were originally created for use on the battlefield or in a military unit. Today they are used for many reasons such as on clothing accessories, promotional material, and as an identity for a company or organization. Custom patches today are often created with large pieces of fabric with small logos or messages printed on the patch.

Morale patches were first used by the British military troops during World War I (WWI). These patches featured the British lion, royal crown, flag, cross, and words "All who pass through these gates will receive the Highest award of gallantry." The message was read as "All who pass through these gates will receive the highest award of gallantry." Morale patches continued to be used with other military units during WWII.

Types and Styles of Morale Patches

As the world wars progressed and conflicts broke out in different areas of the globe, the need for morale patches increased. A wider variety of items including stars, eagle, colors, and logos made their way into the US military. Today there are over 100 types of patches for each branch of the armed forces. Some popular morale patches are based on current events, like the Marine Corps' blue and white patches depicting their amphibious assault vehicles, or the Army's yellow skull and stars depicting the unified command.

Customization of Patches According to Size, Shape and Color

With this wide array of themes, designs, and colors, it's no surprise that there are so many Morale Embroidered Patches available for use by the armed forces. One popular theme is the bald eagle patch, which has been featured in many movies and TV shows. Other popular themes include those depicting the flag or seal of the United States, the Marine Corps Eagle, the Air Force Eagle, or the Navy Blue Star. Most popular rank badges have a predominant color or design. These are typically white, blue, red, green, or a combination, with some larger badges featuring a unique element.

Some military rank badges carry additional significance. For example, an enlisted man's patch will indicate his first day of enlistment. While the officers patch is usually a shield with the coat of arms of the division the officer is serving in. All rank insignia are permanent components of the rank badges, which are also referred to as badges.

    Why Morale Patches Used

Morale clothing patches are used to identify military personnel with specific unit insignia. This type of patch can consist of a single color design with an embroidered background, or it can have two or more colors depending on the size of the patch. After being embroidered with the insignia, the patch is usually sewn onto a heavy cotton material such as felt or leather.

In the past, a rank badge was proudly displayed on the uniform of each and every soldier. But with the advent of newer technologies and with the changing of military doctrine. The original concept of what is Morale Patches was replaced by what is now known as Morale velcro patches.

A rank patch is usually a smaller square piece of cloth that contains the rank and designation. In some cases, it will also contain the insignia for the particular branch that the servicemen belong to. The patches came into use with the US Army, which uses them to identify their soldiers. The British army also uses Morale Patches. But they are different in that the insignia on these patches is a black flag with white stars.

Usability of Morale Patches According to the Required Field

The US Air Force has also identified their fighter planes by their patches. However, this practice of having the insignia on a patch originated with the US Navy. Initially, the Navy would put their name and emblem on the back of the patch. Later, a change was made so that the insignia on the back of the patch also began to be called the name and rank of the sailor. These patches are also referred to as medallions.

Although the method of attaching an insignia to a patch has changed over time. The original purpose of a patch remains. This is to indicate the rank and name of the person wearing it. It has also been used to identify military units, especially when the units have been absorbed into a larger unit or consolidated. Today, they still serve the same purpose.

I have been working with John from Tangnlabel for 2 years now. I’ve probably had 10-15 orders during that time. The tag and labels are always perfect, never any mistakes or flaws, and a great price with speedy delivery. I shopped around quite a bit before deciding to go with them, and I really liked john’s customer service. He did the designs for my labels and patches for free, and they are just gorgeous. Thank you!!

I am starting a new business and we struggled to find a solid, fair-priced labeling supplier, until stumbling upon tagnlabel. From the very beginning, my business partner and I were very impressed with tagnlabel’s customer service, with live representatives to chat with for any questions we had right away, to the professionalism from our sales rep (John), the speed at which our labels arrived, the generosity of including more tags than we had requested for free, and of course the quality of our labels. We love them! John was there for us every step of the way in our design process, and updated us regularly on the progress. Very nice guy. Flat out, I don't think you will find a better customization supplier, let alone at the very fair prices they offer.
