Artwork Preparation Guide

If your graphic files do not meet our specifications, Blue Box Packaging will not be charged for any resulting typographical errors. Read our artwork preparation to prepare your files for submission, or contact us for help from a packaging specialist!

Cut & Crease Line (Red Lines):

Displays the section in its final size and where the box should be folded.. Important graphics and text should be placed at least 0.125 inches from the cut line.

Bleed Line (Blue Lines):

Indicates where the drain section is located. All graphics that run up to the cut line should be extended to the cut line for a transparent print.

Safety Margin(Green Lines):

Specifies where to safely place illustrations and text. As an industry standard, all graphics should be placed at least 0.125 inches from the cut line unless your design is intended.

Perforation (Dotted Black Lines):

The perforation line refers to paper punched with very small holes to make it easier to tear and fold the paper.

What happens after I place my order?
Within one business day, your order is reviewed and given to one of our experienced design teams. you may be emailed your free artwork proof within 1 business day so you'll approve the ultimate design and specifications. you're allowed unlimited revisions to form sure the planning is ideal. Upon approval, you have got the choice to travel straight to full production or request a pre-production sample photo for final approval. Once in production, standard turnaround orders ship within 15 business days, while Rush turnaround is additionally available according to requirement & ships within 10 business days. How the price of my custom patches, Tags, Stickers, or labels are determined?
The price of your order depends on the artwork (the dimension of your design) size and quantity. That's it! We are the primary company within the industry to provide a custom wholesale price quote for your custom clothing Patches, Stickers, Tags and labels. Contact our professional trained team to request an estimate on your product and we will respond with more accurate price and delivery estimates within one business day.
Is there a minimum quantity I'm allowed to order?
We provide the industry's cheapest minimum order quantity of five pieces for most items. Certain products, such as the leather patch and PVC patches require an additional minimum order quantity because of the set-up costs for those items.
Are there any hidden fees or any setup costs for my order?
No! Your purchase includes free graphic art as well as unlimited changes. We will send you a free digital proof to approve within one business day after the time you place your order. The pricing on our site is accurate, you just need to include shipping. Sales tax is only applicable on orders shipped within NY.
How do I decide what type of labels to choose?
Will I be able to see what my label will look like before you make the full order?
Yes! Custom orders will receive a digital proof of the design for your approval within one business day. You can check the specifications of your product and make any modifications if required before we produce your entire order.
Can I have my sample mailed to me for in hand inspection?
Yes! We avoid sending out physical samples since they could be as time-consuming as a full order. Please ensure that you have the time required to wait for the sample (10-15 business days).
As we make custom Stickers, Labels, Patches & Tags we only produce orders according to the client's demands. This is why we are left with a very limited number of samples once the original quantity is shipped to the clients.
However, if you absolutely require a physical sample, you'll be charged a nominal shipping fee and the high-quality photo is usually sufficient.
Can I discuss the unique details of my order with an industry professional over the phone?
Yes! You may always call our New York office Monday to Friday 8:00-6:00 EST if you have any questions or queries you can talk with our professionally trained team during operating hours.

Will my product arrive, ready to be applied or use?
Yes! All custom labels, tags, stickers, and patches arrived finished and ready to be applied to your products like garments, furniture, shoes, handbags, etc.
Do you provide ultrasonic cutting for the softest possible edges?
Yes! Orders of 5000 pieces or more may request an ultrasonic cutting for a slightly softer edge. This may add a small amount to your order and 2-3 business days to the turnaround time. In our experience, our traditional heat cut edges are just as soft and it is hard to tell the difference between the two. However, it is available upon special request in the detailed description of your order. It is not available for orders under 5000 pieces.
Will my custom clothing labels bleed in the wash?
Woven labels and digitally printed labels won't fade or show through the wash. They are made of top-quality threads that are colorfast and durable, while the image is integrated into the material. Labels printed with screen printing are extremely durable and can last for several washes and won't be bleeding. However, because of the nature of the process and natural inks used, the design could begin to show signs of wear after prolonged usage.
